For tax & accounting firms

Run the whole practice on one system. And let it do the chasing.

Clients, engagements, jobs, time, WIP, invoices and a client portal on one surface — with an AI staff accountant who reads every document and an AI practice manager who chases what is missing, flags the return that will miss its date, and tells you each morning what will hurt today.

No card to start · your clients never see our name · runs on your own infrastructure if you want it to

01The practice

Everything between winning a client and getting paid.

One system for the work, the documents, the deadlines and the money — instead of four that disagree.

Work that arrives already scheduled

Pick a template and the job comes with its tasks in order, each with a dependency, an estimate, an owner and a date derived from the deadline. A task whose dependency is still open cannot be completed — which is the difference between a checklist and a workflow.

One client, one sealed library

Every client gets their own document namespace, and the access check runs INSIDE the search itself — so retrieval cannot cross from one client's file into another's, even when a question invites it.

Deadlines seeded, not typed

Federal and state dates, extensions and quarterlies come from the form and the year, weekend-adjusted. Nobody keys in April 15th, and nobody keys it in wrong.

Chasing that escalates — and stops

One email, one upload page, and the item ticks itself off when the file lands in the client's sealed library. Reminders follow the cadence you set, escalate to a partner at the end, and stop the moment the last document arrives — because a reminder that keeps arriving after the client complied is how firms end up turning reminders off.

Time, WIP and billing as one ledger

A real timer — one per person — feeding the same ledger you bill from. WIP shown aged, because the total says what you earned and the aging says what you are about to lose.

Realization you can argue with

Billed ÷ worked, with unbilled time in the denominator on purpose — so a firm that bills late sees a cash problem instead of a flattering rate. Every write-off carries its reason.

Capacity, before you say yes

Remaining estimate on open tasks against each person's declared weekly hours — the only comparison that actually answers whether you can take this on.

A portal clients actually use

One place to see what you need, upload it, sign it, message you and pay. Its own login realm, scoped to one client — a portal account can never reach your console.

Signatures that hold up

The typed name is stored with the address and agent it came from, next to a hash of exactly what was on screen. Without that, a signature only proves somebody clicked a button.

A real tax computation

Schedules A/B/C/D/E/F/SE, Form 8949 with no row limit, K-1s, QBI, NIIT and all fifty states — from hand-transcribed tables where every figure names its authority. A new tax year is a code change, with tests.

02Two colleagues who never forget

The AI in most software writes emails. This one does the work nobody wants.

Grounded in your own documents, cited, and receipted in the audit trail — with the autonomy dial in your hands, not ours.

Baxter, the staff accountant

He reads what arrives: the right W-2 for the right year checks itself off, and a 1099 dropped into the W-2 slot is flagged with the reason rather than silently accepted. He drafts the return from the whole sealed library, organises income by source with citations, and examines it the way a revenue agent would — before one does.

Mira, the practice manager

She turns a client email into the right job with the right due date and owner, chases every outstanding document until it lands, and compares the work left on a job against the days it has — so you hear in February which April return will not make it. Her brief each morning leads with the single thing that will hurt.

A tax library the firm can ask

Code sections, IRS forms and instructions, your own memos and prior guidance — asked in plain language and answered with the passage cited. When the corpus does not contain the answer it says so instead of filling the gap.

The autonomy dial is yours

Out of the box she drafts and flags, and the only thing she does unattended is chase documents — the one action whose worst case is a polite reminder. Sending client updates and dunning invoices are switches you turn on, not defaults you discover.

Ask the firm from wherever you already work

One endpoint and a key put the practice into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code — what is late, how a client stands, what the tax library says. Read-only on purpose: starting work, logging time and emailing a client stay in the console, where the person doing them is on the record.

03Modules

Three modules, one client record

Buy the part of the firm you need first. They share one client, one document library and one ledger, so adding the next one is not a migration.

04White label

Or run the whole thing as your own firm.

One engine, many firms over the door. Give a practice its own brand, its own domain, its own staff and its own clients — and settle the money on one ledger.

Your name over the door

Your logo, your colours, your legal footer — on the console your staff use, the portal your clients use, the filing site, and every email that goes out.

Your own domain

Requests are resolved by hostname before anything else runs, so the firm serving the page is decided before the first byte is rendered.

We are not in the room

The platform's name is not in the email template — the brand's is. Your clients have no way to learn what you run on, because there is nothing to learn.

On the filing side the economics are stated rather than buried: your client pays us, we keep a flat filing fee, and the balance is remitted to you. A return you price free costs you nothing either.

05Pricing

Per firm, not per seat.

Add every preparer, reviewer and admin you have. The filing side is priced per return, because until a return goes out you have not been paid either.
